Our annual College Swimming Carnival delivered a fantastic day of competition, house spirit and community, with students giving their all both in and out of the pool.

From the first race to the final relay, the atmosphere was electric. Students cheered loudly for their houses, filled the stands with colour and energy, and celebrated every swimmer who stepped up to the blocks. The day saw impressive athletic performances across all year levels, including several record-breaking swims and a number of tightly contested races that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.

Beyond the competition, the carnival was a wonderful display of teamwork and sportsmanship. Students encouraged one another, celebrated personal bests and showed great pride in representing their houses. The enthusiasm from the sidelines was just as powerful as the action in the water, helping to create a vibrant and supportive environment for everyone involved.

After a full day of racing and spirited participation, the final house results were:

🥇 Colliton House – 1st Place
🥈 Maiocco House – 2nd Place
🥉 McKillop House – 3rd Place

Congratulations to all students who competed, and well done to Colliton House for taking out this year’s title.

A sincere thank you also goes to the many staff members who worked behind the scenes to organise the event and ensure the day ran smoothly. Their efforts, along with the enthusiastic participation of our students, made the carnival a memorable highlight of the school year.

With records broken, friendships strengthened and house pride on full display, it was a day to remember.

We look forward to doing it all again next year. 🏊♂️
