Maddi Gay

At Salesian College, Maddi Gay was a standout student, Mannix House leader, and elite athlete—captaining the Year 12 Netball team and earning 2014 Sportsperson of the Year. Maddi enters the Hall of Fame for her stellar AFLW career and entrepreneurial success. After debuting with Carlton in 2018, she won a 2022 AFLW Premiership with Melbourne alongside fellow alum Sarah Lampard. Moving to Essendon, a career-best season secured her All-Australian selection and the club's Best and Fairest award. Beyond football, Maddi founded NowUCdigital, a successful photography and videography agency.

2024

Arron Convery

During his time at the College, Arron Convery was a driving force in the school community—serving as Naughton House Captain, leading the Public Speaking Team, and captaining the College swimming team. Arron joins the Hall of Fame for his distinguished military career and exceptional leadership as a Commander in the Royal Australian Navy. Enlisting in 1994, he rose through the ranks to earn senior leadership appointments and command the HMAS Choules. Notably, he oversaw the critical humanitarian operation that evacuated more than 1,400 residents from Mallacoota during the devastating 2019–2020 bushfires.

2022

Kinnear Beatson

A natural athlete from his first days at the College, Kinnear was a dominant force across athletics, swimming, football, and cricket, ultimately serving as Justin House Captain. Kinnear enters the Hall of Fame for his legendary career as one of the AFL’s premier talent scouts and list managers. After a successful teaching and coaching stint, he became the inaugural Regional Manager of the Western Jets before moving into AFL recruiting. He famously helped assemble the powerhouse Brisbane Lions list that won three consecutive AFL premierships (2001–2003), and later joined the Sydney Swans, where he has spent nearly two decades building one of the modern competition’s most consistently successful lists.

Bruno Leti

While attending Salesian College, Bruno discovered a passion for the arts that laid the foundation for his academic journey, later graduating as an art teacher and earning a Master of Arts. His induction into the Hall of Fame celebrates his extraordinary career as a world-renowned, Melbourne-based contemporary artist spanning painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and book arts. His globally recognized talent has earned him prestigious accolades, including a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant (New York) and a State Library Victoria Fellowship. With international residencies in Milan and Rome, Bruno's masterworks are proudly represented in national, state, regional, and university galleries across Australia.
