At Salesian College Sunbury, the care, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people is a sacred responsibility and a central focus of all we do. Grounded in the mission of Jesus Christ, we are committed to creating a safe, supportive and enriching environment for all students to grow spiritually, physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.
Salesian College Sunbury has zero tolerance for child abuse and is committed to the highest standards of child safety. Guided by our Catholic faith, we work to ensure every child is protected, valued, and able to flourish within a safe and supportive environment.
Our commitment to child safety is upheld through robust governance, transparent procedures and a whole-community approach to safeguarding. Our Child Safety Committee works in partnership with staff and the broader community to continuously strengthen our practices and culture of care.

To further reinforce this commitment, all providers of goods or services are required to obtain SAM4Schools accreditation prior to entering College grounds. This accreditation process includes the validation of licences and insurances, as well as completion of a child safety induction.
