Salesian College Sunbury is a Catholic co-education Secondary College in the tradition of St John Bosco.

If you have experience working on a farm, then we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Working as part of a small team, you will provide animal husbandry and general farm labour. Typically, your day to day will include:

General livestock handling and care, including feeding and keeping their environments clean
Grooming animals, shearing and so on
Preparing animals for Agricultural shows and events
Herding livestock to pastures, into trucks or other
Assisting in farm animal breeding, branding and dipping
Driving trucks, tractors, and other equipment
Maintaining and repair fencing and rural plumbing
Slashing and chemical spraying activities
Monitoring equipment and machinery for repair or maintenance, and
Ensuring that operational areas are clean and maintained.

Unique to this industry is the opportunity to contribute to the development of the young people in our community. You will support our agriculture teachers and students in various aspects of their learning, including preparation of our award winning livestock for agricultural shows and events.

You must have:

At least three years of relevant experience in farm work.
