Central to our values is an unequivocal commitment to fostering the dignity, self-esteem and integrity of children and young people. Providing them with a safe, supportive and enriching environment to develop spiritually, physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.
At Salesian College Sunbury, we hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as a central and fundamental responsibility of our school. Our commitment is drawn from, and inherent in, the teaching and mission of Jesus Christ, with love, justice and the sanctity of each human person at the heart of the gospel.
As demonstration of our commitment to child safety, Salesian College Sunbury maintains on online compliance register that is managed by SAM4Schools.
We require that each of our providers of goods or services to become SAM4Schools accredited before they are permitted to enter College grounds. Accreditation involves contractors uploading any licences, permits, insurances and certificates for validating, undertaking our OHS and child safety inductions online, and agreement to our code of conduct.
We believe that a school culture that values compliance and governance shows that you can trust us. Building and maintaining this culture casts a protective net over our staff and students while satisfying legal requirements.
