House Debating
Well done to the Mahoney, O’Grady, Maiocco and Colliton teams who won the first round of the Year 8 Debating competition. The next round is in Week 8 and the topic is “Sport should be removed from the curriculum.” The Year 7 teams will go head to head also with their topic “My House is better than your House.”

Pastoral activities
This week the Year 8’s will have another session with renowned external presenters Elevate. This will focus on time management and be done in House groups.

The Year 7 students will have a Boys Talk and a Girls Talk from external presenters The Flying Bookworm. These talks are aimed at specific age and gender appropriate topics such as peer pressure, body issues and self-esteem.
