Robo Cup Competition
Congratulations to Thalia Salt, Bardyn McIntyre and Heath Perceval who had success in the State Robo Cup competition. The team has been practising in the Learning Centre at lunchtimes. Our thanks to Bro. Barry Parker for mentoring the team.

Student Success
Well done to Lachlan Caplin (Year 7 OY House) who has been selected in the SSV State Under 12 Softball team for Victoria. They will compete at the Pacific School Games in Adelaide in December.
Also to Bridget Ferris (Year 8 OY House) who is flying to Adelaide in the holidays to compete in the
Australian Irish Dancing Nationals. The competition is over 7 days and she is in the age 13 Girls category. In her age group over the last 2 years, she has placed 36th and a commendable 7th.

College Production
Bardyn McIntyre, Mitchell Natoli and Ashleigh Furniss recently starred in the College production of “Much Ado About What You Will.” Year 7 students Maddi Vick, Lauren Marsh, Avi Jackson and Evelyn Morgan also assisted in the backstage crew.

Wearable Arts
Each Homeroom is currently working on creating an entry for our Wearable Arts Competition, which will be the culmination of our Savio Feast Day in Term 4. Students are encouraged to use recyclable materials when creating their masterpieces for the judges.

Cyber Pass
A reminder that students should be completing their “Cyber Pass” which helps them to be safe online. It is a requirement of our ICT agreement that students “pass” at least 80% of the online modules. Students who do not do this by the start of Term 4 will not be able to use a device at school until they have completed the requirement.

House Debating starts in our Pastoral program this Friday. The Year 8’s are debating the topic “Schools should ban uniforms”. Year 7 teams start a week later.
