Mazzarello Student Leaders 2017
The Mazzarello Campus Student Representative Council aims to be educational, democratic, responsible, collaborative, respectful, caring and rewarding. The[KP1]  group of Student Leaders will be challenged to ask questions, share their ideas and showcase the diverse talents and skills of the Year 9 students.

The selection process for Student Leadership required students to nominate themselves or be nominated by their peers. The nominees then presented the reasons why they should be elected (through speeches or in writing) and elections were held by each core group with students voting privately.

It is with great excitement that the semester 1 Student Leaders for Mazzarello Campus are:

Bunjil:                   Ben Astell and Johnathon Need

Colliton:               Nikita Daicos and Rick Daicos

Mackillop:           Jackson Stafford and Brielle Brne

Mahoney:           Isaac Chatfield and Joseph Honner

Maiocco:              Madeline Hendy and Callum Bishop

Mannix:                Jessica Scoble and Abigail Chatman

Mazzarello Campus Working Bee

In order to assist in the efforts of the Mazzarello Campus, the College is asking you to become involved in the regular working bee program.

These are wonderful opportunities for you to socialize with other families. They also help contribute to the success of the Year 9 Program. The first working bee for 2017 was held on, Saturday 18 February between 9am and 11am. We worked on constructing vegetable planter boxes to facilitate the Discovery Ag Horticulture Program and then finished off with a morning tea.

Many of us often find our garden sheds cluttered with tools that while old are still quite useable.  The Year 9 Campus would be pleased to receive any unwanted tools which can be used to grow crops for food. These include spades, forks, hoes, rakes etc.

If you would like to register an interest for future Working Bees, offer any garden tools for donation or have any further suggestions please don’t hesitate to contact myself at bfogarty@scr.vic.edu.au .
