Savio Campus Opening
Many thanks to everyone who attended and participated in our Savio Campus Opening. We had a glorious day on which to celebrate another important milestone in the life of the College.

Bring Your Own Device
A large number of our community attended the BYOD evening at the College. Year 8 may start bringing their devices in Term 3, and Year 7 in Term 4. To prepare the students to use their devices safely they will undertake a Cyber Pass Certificate which will be completed during Pastoral periods in Terms 3 and 4.

Extra-Curricular Activities
There are some wonderful clubs happening at the College during lunchtimes including a Robotics Club, Bookclub and a new Card Club, as well as all the activities in the Music Department. Students interested should head to the Learning Centre for more information.

I was very pleased with how our students responded to the recent NAPLAN testing. This occurred in the stadium and gave students an opportunity to sit it under exam conditions.

Pastoral Presentations
During week 5 our Year 8 students had a presenter from the Hume City Council who gave a modern and relevant talk about graffiti. The Year 7 students had an outside theatre company present to them on the subject of bullying. Both presentations were very worthwhile for the students.
