Pathways 2016

Careers/Pathways for 2016 will feature the following:

I will be interviewing all Year 12 students for 15 minutes each during Term 1 to discuss their career/course plans for next year and update them on course developments. Interviews will be held during their Study Periods and Lunchtimes.

I will be interviewing all Year 11 students for 15 minutes each during Term 2 to discuss their career and course plans, plus updates.

Year 10s will be interviewed in Term 3 around Subject Selection time.
All Year 9, 10, 11 and 12 students will have the weekly Careers newsletter I compile, emailed to them, plus it will be placed on the School website and the new school Careers website.

Note that Year 10 Work Experience is optional and can occur for one week anytime during the year. They organize their own placement (pending approval of the week from HRL) and complete the Work Experience arrangement form which is given to me.

Have a look at the new school Careers website: which has a wealth of information and links, including the Work Experience and Work Placement forms; VCAA, VTAC, Job, University and TAFE links; How to apply for a Tax File Number; Parents helping with Career Conversations; Career Bullseye posters; How to write a resume; links to the Myfuture website; and much more. A great one stop shop for all things Careers, Courses, Jobs, etc.

Feel free to email me: or ring me: 9744 0031, if you wish to make an appointment to see me with your son/daughter regarding Careers Counselling and Course Information, etc.
