Savio Campus News

Year 5 Visits

The College hosted a number of Year 5 students late last term. My thanks to the Year 8 Savio leaders who were fantastic tour guides and helped with the lunch we provided for the students. While that is part of the job of being a Savio leader, the reports back from the primary schools all commented on the very professional and friendly job the leaders did and so I thank you most deeply for that. There were also two students Emily Floreani and Bethany Azzopardi for whom that job is not required or expected though and I thank them publicly for their contribution.

Make Poverty History Day

Last Friday we held a House top day to raise money to end poverty. All Year 7’s had a photo on the mansion lawns aimed at raising awareness. It was a great day with a BBQ and lunchtime performers in the courtyard.
