On Wednesday 28 August, two teams of students from Years 7-9 took park in the Kids Cancer Project – Book in a Day Competition.
Our students had to plan, write, edit and illustrate their book all in one day! Our students worked closely with their team members to ensure the narrative of the story flowed and they met the 4,000-5,000 word count.
It was great to see our students come together with such enthusiasm to work on this great cause. The books will now make their way to Children’s Hospitals across Australia for patients to enjoy.
This event was just one of the many opportunities our students are given to live out our values of Community, Learning, Excellence and Faith. Well done to everyone involved we are extremely proud of your efforts.
