As we are into Step Up, families may need to be aware that every student copes with this transition differently. Some are excited and eager to begin the next year level, others feel anxious and apprehensive. At times, the new year level will have different expectations and requirements, so it is important for students to listen in homeroom, read the daily news on Schoolbox and regularly check emails.
Some key changes for certain Year levels are:
Year 10 2020: Students doing PE as a subject are not allowed to wear HPE uniform to school on the days they have a HPE/Outdoor Ed/Health class. Students need to wear full school uniform to and from school and get changed during the class time for the practical class. It is important that all Year 10s respond to this change as they move into the Bosco Campus.
Year 12 2020: Throughout the year, the Year 12s can wear their HPE uniform to school for 1 day per week (the actual date will be confirmed to students and parents) To participate in this a student must have full and correct HPE uniform. Students are more that welcome to wear school uniform on this day if they prefer. Year 12 students do need at a minimum correct shorts and House Top (new one, or the old one) to participate in House Events, SACCSS and Sporting Events, as well as the one day per week initiative.
