Our College Athletics Carnival was such a wonderful event. We were blessed with nice weather last Tuesday and our own College grounds were just perfect.
It was great to see so many students representing their Houses. There was a variety of events on offer. Whether it was running in a track event, throwing, jumping in a field event or pulling their House over the line on the tug-of-war rope. Students were happy to get involved.
Congratulations to O’Grady House, who under the leadership of House Captains, Bayley Moore and Lucy Dillon, ran out eventual winners on the day. O’Grady managed to just get over the line of last year’s Athletics winners, Naughton House, who seemed to be out of the count but had a few amazing relay races to bump them up to second. Below are the final standings from the Athletics Carnival:
1st – O’Grady - 1018
2nd – Naughton- 1008
3rd – Mackillop- 972
4th – Mannix – 919
5th – Colliton - 892
6th – Mahoney - 885
