Yesterday, Monday 17 June we commenced Semester 2 and students had access to their new timetables on Schoolbox. Please be aware that timetabled class times, and teachers, can change when we change semester so please check this carefully with your child. Students should not have any blank spaces on their timetable so please contact me immediately if this is the case.
Semester 1 Reports will be available on Schoolbox on Friday 28 June. We will send home our end of semester report letter as well as instructions on how to access these reports. Please be mindful that the end of semester reports only show your child’s overall progression and work habits for each curriculum area. They should be read in conjunction with our continuous reporting and feedback on Schoolbox, as this is where our reportable assessment tasks and comments are published.

As this is our last newsletter for Term 2, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank-you and farewell to our College Community. I am taking long-service leave in Term 3 and 4 to spend more time with my family. Daniel Buttacavoli will be returning from his overseas trip to take back the Learning & Teaching helm. It has been wonderful to be back and work with some lovely people, both staff and students.
We wish to acknowledge and thank Ammie Franklin who has worked hard as our Curriculum and Assessment Leader this term, in Clinton Gray’s absence. We are very grateful that Ammie will be staying on as our Technology Learning Leader and we know she will continue to do a fantastic job. My sincere thanks to both the Learning & Teaching and Curriculum teams also, and the educational support staff that we work with, they continue to work tirelessly to make Salesian College Sunbury a better place for our students.
