On Thursday 28 November, our wonderful cast performed their student-devised Christmas Play to an audience filled with supportive parents, friends, teachers, and the community.
Our students have given up their Thursday afternoons over the last semester to write and rehearse their acts; encouraging students form every year level to come together and collaborate, forming important bonds and friendships.
Importantly, the students performed for a cause, with all ticket sales going to the St Vinnies Christmas Appeal. Because of tickets sales we were able to donate a total of $1,315.
We would also like to recognise the efforts of Brendan Jones (NN3) and Claudia Reddan (NN6) who directed their plays with enthusiasm, patience and kindness.
A special Director’s Award was given to Rick Daicos (CN6). Rick took on a leadership role throughout the rehearsal and devising processes, being a wonderful mentor to our younger students and ensuring that it all came together.
