The College’s celebration of the Graduating Class of 2019 culminated in our Graduation Dinner at Moonee Valley on Friday 21 November. It was a spectacular night with graduates and their friends and family enjoying one last opportunity to come together and pay tribute to the tremendous efforts all students and staff have put in to make 2019 a year to be proud of.
In particular, it was an opportunity to acknowledge the achievements of those students who were the best performers in each subject area. We also recognised those students who were awarded the Rector’s award for their contributions to their House and the Certantes Cup recipients who were judged by their peers to be such valuable members of our cohort. We were also honoured to have our VCE band perform a few numbers for us one last time.
As our Captains Michaela Frantz and Josh De Jonge explained in their final address, the journey has been long but it’s now over and it has been completed well. The future is a little daunting but very bright. Our thanks go to all who have shared and supported them throughout the years.
