The college submitted three Year 11 artworks to the Catholic Education Week Creative Art Exhibition, to be held at the Leadership Office in East Melbourne in March 2020. We are pleased to announce that all three pieces were selected by the curators! They will go on display along with a supporting statement, and be in the running for a range of prizes. This is a State wide art competition and exhibition, so it is a real achievement being selected. The successful artists are Larah Bowering, Abby Hemphill and Jackson Pumpa.
Would your child like the opportunity to learn to play an instrument or sing? The number of students enrolled in Instrumental lessons at Salesian College Sunbury has tripled in the last two years! Places are filling fast, don't miss out on giving your child the chance to learn to play an instrument next year. The Music Department at the College offer private or paired lessons on Piano, Guitar or Voice and private, paired or small group lessons on all Woodwind, Brass and String instruments. Please fill out the Instrumental Enrolment form on Schoolbox to enrol your child in lessons. Hire of woodwind, brass and string instruments are available.
Specialist music lessons allow students to explore their instrument or voice on a weekly basis either as an enhancement to their classroom music program or purely for enjoyment and personal development.
Please note Students currently enrolled in the Instrumental Program will be automatically re-enrolled the following year, there is no need to fill out a new form.
