Rates of illness during winter are generally higher than any other time of the year. Colds, flu and tummy bugs are more prevalent because we are indoors and in closer proximity to one another which increases the transmission of these common illnesses. This means that prevention is the key to staying well!
Lastly, if you are unwell, don’t come to school. Sharing is not caring when it comes to illness.
We have a number of staff and students at the College who are immunocompromised and will suffer more than the average person when struck down with a winter bug.
