The Mazzarello Campus is structured around supporting the transition from childhood to adulthood. The campus curriculum is delivered by a core group of teachers, with an emphasis on connectedness between ideas and concepts across disciplines.
Deep engagement with opportunities for higher order and critical thinking are encouraged and learning is integrated as much as possible. Project Based Learning is used to design authentic, rich assessment tasks to deliver an engaging, collaborative and flexible learning experience.
A key focus of the Mazzarello Campus is to guide students in developing a better awareness of themselves and their community and to provide opportunities to develop tolerance, empathy and an appreciation of others.
Our Challenge program, with its focus on physical activity and active learning, is designed to develop students’ resilience, team work skills and
confidence in pushing beyond their perceived limits. A highlight of the program is a five day adventure camp where students are encouraged
to become self-sufficient and build stronger relationships with their peers.
